SELECT ONE KART KOMMANDER

Our Select One Kart Kommander system combines a radio control track safety system and automatic ride timer. It comes in three different formats: the Select One, the AUTOSTART Select One, and the Dynamo Select One for electric karts. Here is how the basic Select One works:

 

1. Start the ride by selecting which pit to release. All karts are held at idle until the ride is started.
2. Put the entire track at idle and the ride timer on stand-by with the push of the "All Idle" button. Hit the green "Release" button to restart the race.
3. During the ride, push the "Approach Loop" button to cut the carts entering the approach area off so a rowdy rider can be removed safely from the track. Push a second time to release the Approach Loop.
4. Put an individual kart back to idle by "dialing" the carts number and pressing the "Single Idle" button. The number pad is a duplication of a phone dial pad for easy cart selection. Release just one kart by dialing the kart number and then hitting the "Release" button.
5. Thirty Seconds before the ride ends, the green lights starts flashing and the transmitter box starts beeping
6. At the end of the ride, the light turns red, the approach loop is activated, and the pit loop is activated.
7. The pit can be split into A side and B side for a double pit operation.

The Select One has three light outputs connected to the automatic timer: Red, Green, and Yellow:

1. The red light is turned on at the end of the ride
2. The green light is turned on at the start of the ride
3. The yellow light is turned on when the "all Idle" feature is used and the time is put on standby. The remaining time is started with the karts are released.

The select One transmitter features a two line, LCD display for showing:
Time Remaining, Loops that are turned on, Ride Status, and for showing the programming menu.

The Select One Kart Kommander system is a great way to keep all your rides safe and on time. Using the wireless remote, the track supervisor has all the controls in his hand wherever he goes. About the size of a paper back novel, the wireless remote is easy to keep track of and still easy to carry around. In the event that the main transmitter quits working, the hand held unit will still allow you to put the karts back to idle and continue to operate. While the traffic lights and timer would not function, the track can continue to operate.

On the kart, the Select One uses a solenoid to pull the governor arm back to the preset idle position to put the kart at idle. While you adjust the throttle over time, the idle position never changes. Thus, the kart will always return to the proper idle position whenever the Select One is used.
